I am about to start playing a character in a new game starting at 12th level with a 20 point stat buy, and our DM has given us a lot of options. Pretty much anything published by Paizo is fair game, and this includes any races in the ARG. I have a long history of play wizards, but rarely get to play at high level. A Hell Knight Enforcer will work well with the themes of the campaign, but should also be a little different and keep me interested. I was hoping for some advice as to how to build one.
My basic plan was to go Tiefling Wizard 5, Fighter 1, Hell Knight 6, probably focusing my feats either on summoning or blasting. Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

Using racial SLAs in order to qualify for PrCs is legal, so you could go like this:
Gendarme Cavalier 1 (free power attack so it outclasses fighetr for a lvl 1 dip, order of the seal for the great challenge ability) / Wizard (Scryer) 1 (qualifies for EK with the SLA he gets, oppose Necromancy + Enchantment) / Eldrich Knight 5 / Hell Knight Enforcer 5
This way you can keep your BAB high while not losing an y caster lvl.
Bear in mind though that this build is not optimal neitehr for summoning nor for blasting. In order to be rally effective at these, you need to be a full caster.
What this build does best is being versatile. He can throw a battlefield control spell in order to divide the enemies, buff himself and wade into battle.

In my Wrath of the Righteous Campaign, I have a player that also plays Wizards a lot and wanted to mix it up some.
Right now at 6th level he is a Tiefling Cleric of Asmodeus(Trickery Domain(forgot other but not relevant) 1/Wizard (Scryer) 2/ Mystic Theurge 2/ Hellknight Enforcer 1
His 3rd & 5th level feats were Arcane Armor Training & Warrior Priest so that he would get the FULL benefit of all of the Hell Knight Enforcer. In play so far the one thing we've noticed is that his BAB isn't good at all right now. He plans on using all of his Hellknight Enforcer pluses to caster level on his Wizard spell casting.
