Game Day Berserker! A Barbarian Pre-Gen request.

Advice

Sczarni

For an upcoming con game day, I have been asked to create 3 pregens for a friends one shot home brew which may or may not have a part 2 at the con itself.

The first two are done, but the third is driving me crazy. I visualize it as a half orc enforcer type who breaks legs for a living. Non-Lethal damage specialist focused on various ways of getting free Intimidate checks.

To that end, I think I want the following:

Cornugon Smash
Enforcer
Power Attack

In addition,
Sacred Tattoo with Fate's Fortune is worth 3 feats, so I really think I should take the combo given the low saves of Barbarians.

Finally,
Weapon of Peace reduces the penalty for non-lethal from -4 to -2 on the attack roll, I suppose that is good, but . . .

The build rules are per PFS. The goal is to inspire some of the local interested people to get involved in the local game scene, so I don't necessarily want over complex characters, but at the same time I want enough variation and rule interplay to at least introduce the concepts of skill, feat, trait, and ability interplay.

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance

Is there any reason why Weapon of Peace over Bludgeoner? I'd imagine a legbreaker would usually use something blunt to begin with. Blades leave too many marks, evidence, etc.

What's the question? If you know the things you want, take them. Barbarians can go for neat gimmicks, but 18+ str and a twohander isn't the best you can do with a barbarian, but it'll get you through the door just about anywhere. In the thread title you call him a Berserker, but then go on to describe an enforcer. He can'r exactly berserk while enforcing, so maybe he does side jobs adventuring or whatever where he can berserk.

Also, if you're trying to interest people, keep it simple. I've never looked at a brand new (serious) game and said "man, this just looks way too easy, I'll take a pass". I usually find out a game is too simple after I've played it two or three times. Keep that barrier to entry low, and anyone who wants complicated can find it here themselves, easily. I don't think you need characters who specialize in non-lethal or grappling or other non-basic rules for a Game Day. But that's just my two cents.

Half-orc barbarian?
As the other fella mentioned I second the Bludgeoner feat.
Wield an Earthbreaker with Power Attack and go to town.

Feats
1-Bludgeoner
3-Power Attack
5-Enforcer

Recommend picking up Intimidating Prowess if you have room.
If he's focusing on non-lethal, then Cornugon Smash may be a bit redundant and he cannot pick it up until 7th level in any case since it has 6 ranks of Intimidate as a prerequisite.

Though naturally Enforcer won't work on things immune to non-lethal. :)

I like this idea though...wanted to roll a 2 handed fighter with that concept once...may try it again.
