Working on an encounter, looking for some ideas

So, I'm thinking of sending a small squad of elite goblins against my players (2 dwarven martials). I already know the "core" of the group, a tiefling (small, I'm saying it's goblin-spawn) kensai bladebound magus (going to stay away from shocking grasp spellstrike). Now, I am looking for decent cohorts that might follow this demon-spawn tiefling. This guy is intended to be a boss battle (level 6, players level 4) so I'm looking for useful cohorts that could either be "preliminaries" or support for the final battle. Ideas:

-Keep them level 3, use them in groups. More dynamic.
-Thinking groups of 3, 1 freebooter ranger, 1 alchemist, 1 fighter;

I'm looking for other ideas. What kind of close guard this guy would have. Might make it a recurring villain-type, maybe not. But I like the notion of a band of goblin mercenaries led by a demonic goblin.

A Goblin war drumming bard with a banner in the background, stealthy trying not to be seen, buffing up all of the others with the flag bearer feat if he gets spotted and has to come out of the shadows.

a cleric who does nothing but channel negative against the party, once again, in the shadows, or invisible

a summoner who, summons stuff rom the background ( see the whole hiding is shadows scheme going on?)

anything really that will damage the party alot, weaken them or try to get in their way

high dex rogues who will always try acrobats to get into flank

Barbarians SMASH

druids with goblin dogs

or have 3 snipers, hiding in the shadows, way up top, shooting them

If the goblins know they are coming, if they arent smart enough (i.e if you give them 7 int or lower) have them role int checks ( dc 15) if they know they need to get ready, buff themselfves up, have readied actions for things like obscuring mist and other debuffs. same if one of the preliminarys escapes and warns the boss.
