Hi, quick question.
Do saddles and saddlebags for medium mounts really have the same weight as saddles for large mounts? I can't find anything saying otherwise in the equipment tables, but it doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
With the current weights, medium mounts with saddles would almost always incur in medium load penalties just by carrying a small rider with his regular equipment, which is rather inconvenient.
Thanks in advance!

Neither the Core Rulebook nor the Ultimate Equipment book mark this equipment as being lighter for smaller mounts. So rules as written is going to be a big penalty for small characters riding medium size mounts.
As a houserule, I would definitely allow most all mount gear to vary in weight based on the animal it is sized for. Armors are halved for every size category below small, and doubled for every category above. Non-armor gear for containers and such is quartered for small characters. I would assume the mount gear weights are based on large. For every category below large quarter the weight and carrying capacity of containers, feed, saddles, and other gear attached to and carried by the animal. Multiply by four for every category greater than large on the same.
Talk to your GM about it, and see if they also find such a houserule reasonable.
