Okay, so can someone tell me if this is correct.
If I have the feat to craft something magical but I don't met the prerequisites for the item but I have the gold, all I have to do is add a +5 to my craft check and I can bypass the prerequisites correct?
If so, then what is the point in having the prerequisites in the first place then? Why not just in the prerequisites just say u need this feat, this gold, and met the crafting dc instead of having spells or caster levels to craft it in there if u can bypass it with a +5 to ur dc?

Not all prerequisites can be bypassed. Having them in there allows GM's to tweak magic item creation difficulty to taste. A GM may say that things that say "creator must be race X, or have Feat Y" can not be bypassed, or he may limit which ones can be bypassed. And certain items such as scrolls, potions, and wands are hardwired to require the spells in question. For example, one of my houserules is that if you are bypassing any requirement, you can't "take 10" on the spellcraft check.
And remember it's +5 for EACH requirement you're trying to bypass.
