So I am going to be the healer of the group, taking cleric with merciful heal arch, and going to try for the Healers Touch achievement feat. If I can work out the details, I will be taking 6 levels to get the empowered ability from merciful healer (combined with healers touch will be nice), so would be open to take it at 7th, which would give me enough time and points to get the prereqs taken care of.
So I am looking for thoughts on the combination, and any insights on something I might be missing. I know that my channel energy will not go up with harrower, but my special abilities focus on healing spells (maximized and empowered) not the channeling. Additionally, this is for a group about to start Jade Regent, rest of the group is composed with a druid, oracle, and bard (gypsy).

I got to ask are you doing this because you think the party needs such a dedicated healer or because you like the character concept? If the former, there is no need especially in a party where everybody can use CLW wands. No matter you build the party should buy a wand asap and give it to someone besides you. If you just like the concept, I would recommend a normal cleric of Dalenydra, the Empyreal Lord of battlefield healers and those that take vows of non-violence. Choose the healing and either protection or repose domains. Mechanics wise the other domain gives you an actual option for your domain slot, since you could always convert your normal spells to heals. Also the extra powers gives you stuff yo do when healing is not required. Flavor wise his followers non-violence dovetails nicely into the Healer's touch feat. Other feats to look at are Sacred Summons, you don't want to damage bad guys but your celestial tiger can. Metamagic feats such as quicken extend and reach are also solid choices. Selective channeling is probably a must. I would try very hard to convince the other players to take creation feats. In Pathfinder one person can provide the feat and another the spell.
I would also recommend looking into the battlefield healer Story feat. You can get a bonus right away works with all spells and not just the healing ones. I know if you took the Merciful Healer archtype you wouldn't even be attacked when healing, but I don't know if that is worth the loss of your second domain and the ability to harm undead.
If you do go for full-out healer I would definitely ask your gm for the option to rebuild at second level in case you are not having fun.
One last thing. Talk to your gm about the Healer's touch feat, he might not want to deal with the bookkeeping

I did talk to GM about the Healers Touch feat and he liked the idea. And I think I missed something with my original post.
I was looking at taking the PrC Harrower with my cleric after 6th level, and was looking for insights into what other people thought. We are not a power gaming group, been doing it way too long, and with other having access to healing but focusing on other options (oracle is going to be AOE DPS build I think, druid is going to use companion to help her tank, and the bard is wanting to play a gypsy but does not think harrower is for him) I was just looking for something different. Searching though the boards, I saw a lot of builds and suggestions for other classes, but none for the cleric. So any advice or thoughts are welcome.
