Absolutely you can. It has no limit on who it can help. So it can be for yourself, for someone at your location, or for someone at another location.
Other cards will signify limits in usage with phrases like "another character at your location" or "a character at another location" or "for your check". But some cards, like the standard power of blessings to add 1 die to a check, do not contain those limits.
