Siren Monster Card: Is It Elite?

Rules Questions and Gameplay Discussion

So in my efforts to compile a list of all the basic and elite cards to track what I've removed from the game, I noticed that the Siren in the Character Add-On deck has the Elite trait, while the Siren in the Base Set does not.

Is this intentional to keep 1 siren in the game? Or should they both have the elite trait? Or should they both not have the elite trait?

Preemptive thanks for lettings us know.

No, they should both be Elite. We'll get that FAQed.

Thanks Mike. Glad to hear this pesky siren won't be guaranteed to stay around and bother Valeros.

Valeros and Merseil both hate the Sirens.

*everybody* hates the Sirens.

The Treacherous Cave loves the Sirens.

Lini wonders what the big deal is about the Siren.

Kyra likes a soft target once in a while. She'll miss the Siren ;) and the Skeletons and Zombies...

Is that from experience, Mike? I don't see any combat increasers in the Treacherous Cave, so I have to assume the nastiness is from being trapped there (it requires a check to move out)

Deeper Dungeons does not increase the Siren's Wisdom check (not a combat check), thankfully.

Whoops. I believe I meant the Harpy. Carry on.
