Advice on level 2 Orc 2 hander

I'm gonna be playing in a military based campaign (plan for combat then fight so no need to be useful outside of combat). the way we are generating ability scores is all scores start at 15 and you can 1 for 1 up to 18 (take 1 point from one and add it to another). My go-to class is usually barbarian so I'm thinking that I want to play a fighter this time. The party is pretty well rounded and all i need to provide is front line damage so I'm going to have the day-runner alternate racial trait. any advice/sample builds are appreciated.


So I built it out and is it really as simple as power attack and don't look back?

Silver Crusade

Pretty much if you want to look at twf with a shield you eventually take no penalties. But for 2handed weaponry feats, IMO should look like. Also look into trip weaponry

Stats I recommend before race increases.
Str:18
Dex: 18
Con:18
Int:12
Wis:16
Cha:7

1-power attack,weapon focus blank
2-cleave
3-Dodge
4- wep specialization blank
5-iron will
6- improved trip
7- greater trip(if combat exp. Is needed replace dodge with it) I can't recall ATM.
8-combat reflexes
9- cleaving finish. Then
10-w.e
11- w.e
12 greater wep. Spec.


The stat array I would go to after racial modifiers:

STR 22
DEX 14
CON 18
INT 10
WIS 14
CHA 10

Max Str for obvious reasons. 14 Dex so that you can take full advantage of a mithral full-plate, pumped up Wis for will saves. 10 Int so that you can have maxed Perception and Intimidate, 10 Cha so that you have no negative modifiers in Intimidate. When you take Intimidating Prowess your Intimidate score will become sky-high.

Take the Two-weapon Fighter archetype.

For your first 2 lvl feats I will also suggest Power Attack, Weapon Focus and Cleave. Make sure you are taking Cleave with one of your bonus feats, so that you can retrain it at 4th lvl, when better options will be available. I also suggest to swap Ferocity with Smeller.

A possible proggresion for an intimidate-based build could be:

1 Power Attack, Cleave
2 Weapon Focus (Falchion, fits thematically)
3 Furious Focus
4 Weapon Specialization (Falchion) (retrain Cleave with Improved Sunder (so that you can take advantage of your archetype bonuses))
5 Intimidating Prowess
6 Cornugon Smash
7 Greater Sunder
8 Greater Weapon Focus (Falchion)
9 Dazzling Display
10 Shatter Defences
11 Deadly Stroke (for awesome standard action attacks, combine it with Backswing and Piledriver or Devastating Blow)
12 Greater Weapon Specialization (Falchion)
13 Critical Focus
14 Staggering Critical
15 Blinding Critical
16 Critical Mastery
17 Stunning Critical
18 Sundering Strike
19 Iron Will
20 Improved Iron Will


the build i have so far is:

So 16-20 are replaceable if you have something better

Also I have a question about Cornugon Smash I've heard somewhere (maybe I might be thinking of something else) that you have to worship the CE orc god to get it idk correct me if I'm wrong please.
