(I've checked back about six weeks and haven't seen this, so...)
If a character completes the final scenario of an adventure but hasn't completedall of the scenarios in the adventure do they get the adventure reward or not? (Say for example one of a group's characters dies in adventure two, and that player creates a new one for adventure three whilst the rest of the players maintain their original characters.)
Technically no. The adventure cards rewards characters completing the adventure. The adventure consists of all the scenarios in the adventure. So to get it, you'd have to complete all the scenarios.
However, don't let that rule stop you and your friends from having fun. If your friend's enjoyment of the game will be dampened by having an inferior character and you don't want to take the time to repeat the scenarios with him, just let him hive have the reward. It would be a house rule, but it isn't like it would break the game or anything.
Also, lots of people are playing with a house rule that death doesn't result in a character wipe, but instead in some other punishment, ranging from scenario failure to loss of a random card.
