What is an aura of strong necromancy?

Hey, I'm still kinda new to PF and I am DMing a dungeon for my kids. We are doing a PF conversion of X2 (I'm sure many of you are familiar with it). In there is The Sword of Sylaire, and it has and Aura of strong necromancy. I've been searching trying to figure out what that is. Can someone please help?

When detected magiced that is what the player learneds. It shows which magocs were used to create it or what type if power it weilds

Well, it's either what you detect when you use this spell on a necromantic object...

Or, it's that terrible stink when a rat has died in the wall somewhere.
