Newbie question: Am I legal?

The Exchange

Hello! I'm learning about PFS and have made my first character... I just want to check. Is this build legal? The character is listed in the profile.

I haven't checked everything, but it looked OK at a first look.

I have one question though. Have you thought about what's involved if she wants to cast spells with somatic components? If she's holding her morning star, she can't use that hand. She can't switch the morning star to her shield hand since it's a heavy shield. So, move action to 'sheathe' it, then standard action to cast? She could draw the morning star in her next turn, but in the meantime, she's only got her shield and a gauntlet.

The only thing I see from a rules standpoint is about the Devotee of the Green trait. You can't actually use the Knowledge: Geography skill until you have at least one rank in the skill. And although it's technically legal to take it, the text is more in line with a nature deity (which the Lost Prince is not).

From the advice side, Selective Channeling may not be your best bet. With your charisma modifier you can only exclude one ally. If you want to do offensive channeling, you really need to focus on it and pump your charisma very high.

Not sure if this belongs in the PFS forums or advice.

Your character is legal, but i would strongly suggest like Belafon above to either rethink your variant channel, or the charisma of your build. Since the party size can go higher then 4, variant channeling tends to hurt the party more then help.

unless your planning to get a malleable symbol (10k gp) your going to upset alot of party members.

Do you have copies of any books used in the build, e.g. Ultimate Magic? You need them to be PFS legal (PDF is ok).

I did a bit of research on the lost prince, as a being of the first world and one of the eldest. He does qualify as a nature deity, but the green faith trait, will not be much use til you put a rank in it... as Belafon stated.

Thank you! I've retooled the character considerably, but kept the basic theme as a devotee of the Lost Prince.
