So I missed this during the Playtest since I was starting a Wrath character at first level. Now that I'm hitting 4th level and am able to cast 1st level spells, what is my caster level? Do I cast magic missile and shocking grasp as a 4th level caster or 1st?

All this time in my head I've been thinking that the caster aspect of the Bloodrager was nerfed because it was held up until 4th level. Then last night I'm doing a closer reading and realized what you just confirmed above.
Good to know. I played an abyssal bloodrager last night (SO FUN!) and we got tripped up on the caster level thing. Dolok was 7th level so we ultimately decided to go with CL7, but we puzzled over it for a bit. Glad to know we came to the right conclusion.
