Basically what the title asks

Note: You're asking these in the organized play section of the boards. try clicking above where it says Pathfinder@ and then clicking the rules section.

You do not normally add your dex to firearms damage. Gunslingers however get the ability to do so at 5th level.

You add your full Dex mod to firearm attack rolls as normal, assuming you have the feats to use a firearm [I believe you need Gunsmithing, Exotic Weapon Proficiency [firearms], and a certain amount of fame, or a level of gunslinger], but you only add it to damage if you have enough Gunslinger levels and your archetype doesn't trade away gun training.

If you're making a ranged attack roll (regardless of whether it's with a firearm, bow, or ranged touch spell), you add your Dexterity modifier.

You add your Dex Modifier to to hit, regardless of proficiency. If you aren't proficient however you get a static penalty of -4 to hit.

Dex Modifier to damage is not normal, and would have to be a special bonus as others have said from Gunslinger (or a feat if such exists).
