So I need a clarification a very clear cut clarification on this topic, Is the Gunslinger an Alternate Archetype of Fighter and thus can be used for this -The trench fighter is an archetype of the fighter class.

Trench Warfare (Ex)

Starting at 3rd level, a trench fighter can select one specific type of firearm (such as a machine gun, revolver, or rifle). He gains a bonus equal to his Dexterity modifier on damage rolls when firing that type of firearm. Every 4 levels thereafter (7th, 11th, and 15th), the trench fighter picks up another type of firearm, gaining these bonuses for those types as well. Furthermore, when behind partial, normal, or improved cover, a trench fighter gains an additional +2 AC bonus from the cover.

This ability replaces armor training 1, 2, 3, and 4 -

A gunslinger is it's own class, and not an archetype.

A gunslinger is its own class. It is not a fighter archetype nor an alternate base class for fighter. Even if it was, a gunslinger does not get armor training and thus could not use the trench fighter archetype.

This is actually pretty useful; some players prefer to play gunslinger until they hit the Dex to damage level, then switch to fighter or ranger for the additional feats and general breadth of ability.

Sovereign Court

The gunslinger was only briefly an Alternate Class of the Fighter in the first round of playtesting. By the second round, it became its own class (though the Ninja and the Samurai remained alternate classes.)

The gunslinger is its own base class.

Sczarni

There are only 3 Alternate Classes in Pathfinder: Ninja (Rogue), Samurai (Cavalier), and Antipaladin (Paladin).
