Question about "Master Summoner Archetype" and "Lesser Eidolon"

Rules Questions

Greetings all,

I have searched for an (official) answer on this, but unfortunately i couldn't, even though this has been asked a couple of times before.

Lesser Eidolon:
A master summoner’s class level is halved (minimum 1) for the purposes of determining his eidolon’s abilities, Hit Dice, evolution pool, and so on. The eidolon otherwise functions as normal.

Simple question: The halved level applies for the eidolon table only, or does it affect the required summoner level of some evolutions too?

Is this a "the GM decides how it works" matter? How do you use it?

The "and so on" is key here.

When determining anything about your Eidolon, your level is half of what it normally is.

Is the minimum level for eidolon evolutions based on your summoner level? Yes. Is it related to your eidolon's abilities etc? Yes. Do you treat your level as half for this? Yes.

I guess you should aim for those without a high level summoner level requirement (or no at all) and focus on the utility ones like "skilled".
