As silly as this is, this combo appears to be rules legal?

This spell functions like reduce person
Multiple magical effects that reduce size do not stack. Reduce person counters and dispels enlarge person.
Multiple magical effects that increase size do not stack.
No line about functioning "like Enlarge Person" (or countering/dispelling anything)
Please do not cite the Polymorph rules, none of these spells are a polymorph.
The net benefit is +6 Str, +4 Con.

The bonuses provided by both effects are size bonuses. If you aren't actually the relevant size, you get nothing. For example, if you are a goblin and you use enlarge person, you lose the +1 size bonus on attack rolls, the +1 size bonus to AC, the –1 penalty to CMB and CMD, and the +4 size bonus on Stealth checks.
Therefore, even applying your extremely liberal (and not at all correct) interpretation that these effects stack, the very nature of the bonuses cancel each other out; you grow one size, then shrink down to your normal size. You get nothing.

That's an interesting interpretation. Where does it express that in the rules? (I am actually curious)
AFAIK, size bonuses are simply another category that stack with anything but themselves.
The 2 spells both offer different bonuses and penalties.
Bonuses and penalties definitely stack with each other.
