Dawnflower Battle Dance for Other Weapons

Advice

Scarab Sages

My question is; if I take levels of dawnflower bard to get it's battle dance ability, can I use it ( battle dance). For other weapons?
I don't care about the dervish feat, I'm only interested in the battle dance for use with another weapon.
Is this possible?

Battle Dance doesn't specify that it has to be used with a particular weapon, so I don't see why not. Dervish dance is nifty though, makes scimitar hard to turn down if your talking melee.

Might help to post these type of questions in the rules forum instead.

Cool, ty:-) I'll do that next time. :-)

Most people seem to have found that Dawnflower's Battle Dance works best with TWF or Natural Attacks; basically, the more attacks you can throw in a round, the better.

Heck, why not do it with archery too? Inspire courage doesn't specify melee attacks, and neither does the battle dance. Pick an elf to get free bow proficiencies and pretend you are posing for the Hawkeye Initiative every time you shoot (warning: please do not look that up. Or do, because it is funny.).

But yes, the one handed, single weapon style of dervish dance is hardly the best way to put those sweet, sweet bonuses to use (I mean, they put you on par with a raging barbarian for your entire career!)
