Defender of the Society is Fighter only unfortunately. The Helpful trait is good though.

I think your character might be suffering from a identity crisis :) Cherry picking for all the best abilities are all well and good but pathfinder really rewards the person who sticks it out with a class. Helpful is a awesome trait to have and great to have bodyguard. Really I would up your dex and take combat reflexes, basically as a attack of opp you can give a ally +4 to their ac. Gm might hate you after awhile though. Personally I see bloodrager to be a waste of time, slayer too. I think guntank, even with a tower shield is probably better spent elsewhere. Don't forget the tower shield gives you a -2 on attacks. I would keep at paladin and get hero's defiance asap. I'm not sure if the prof form warpriest counts as a exotic or not.

With all of those random splat classes thrown in, I don't see an actual person or concept to work with. It looks like you just threw on the best powers/abilities you could for versatility and then overlayed the idea of a bodyguard onto it. Sword, shield, gun, raging, paladin/cleric/shooting melee slayer...who is also of celestial lineage.

My first thought is why is any of that necessary for a bodyguard? It looks more like an offensive character who invested feats in protecting others. It would still work but if you are optimizing a bodyguard build why a tower shield and no shield related bodyguard feats planned? Saving shield and bodyguard for +4 ac or with the helpful trait +6 sounds good to me. Picking up reach and a combat manuever like trip or bullrush to keep foes away from your designated charge sounds great. My pfs monk bodyguard build now carries potions of enlarge person to make sure he is in range of more allies and threatening more enemies so he can constantly abuse archon style and bodyguard. He has no combat maneuvers as I suggested but he really doesn't need them since he can just stun or take an aoo to use them and never get hit due to his stupidly high ac and cmd.

I don't see any levels of the various cavalier archetypes/orders that make the different methods of bodyguarding better. Take a look at the cavalier class and some of the orders, especially if you grab the helpful trait. A bodyguard build might be in the thick of melee and going toe to toe with nasty monsters but you actually do not need a high stress score. My bodyguarding monk has 13 str and honestly, next level (he'll be 8) I might just improve his intelligence instead of his strength. But as a heavily armored protector you would need a minimum str for carrying capacity if nothing else.

Anyway, maybe that helped. Didn't mean to sound like I was harping on your character concept.
