So, anybody seen this? I love the Borderlands setting and the characters, so a series of adventures, without all the shootery, sounds like a great idea.

I'm kinda surprised that nobody of the big Borderlands fans here has anything to say about this. C'mon, Mikaze, where are you? ^^

Silver Crusade

Oh my God I just saw this and my phone is about to run out

WANT

That's more like it. :D

Interesting, but I'd need more information before I'd say "want" :)

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Lol. So many people are gonna die.

Liberty's Edge

I am looking forward to hearing more about this myself. I have really enjoyed Borderlands' series so far.

Scarab Sages

Telltale Games??? Borderlands Adventures??? Yes Please!!!

Silver Crusade

The more I think about this the more excited I get.

Just hearing that music again had me eager to jump back into that setting. I kind of fell in love with horrible, wacky, beautiful Pandora across the two main games, so getting to view it from an adventure game perspective is really appealing.

Liked Marcus' declaratino of the apparent protagonists not being Vault Hunters(and the poster's declaration taht they're most likely con-artists), which works nicely for the gameplay shift.

Praying for more Scooter quests.

I mostly hope for more Tiny Tina. ^^

I'm conflicted, not a big fan of Telltale, but I love borderlands... Have to wait until after it comes out.

I want more Mr Torgue!

I bet that jerk claptrap is going to find a way into it too, whether we want him or not. Maybe we'll get to see why he was taken off the assembly line. We shall call it, "The birth of a hero! The origins of claptrap!"

Borderlands just has so many good characters it's hard to choose just one. The setting and the characters are the reason it's one of the only FPS I have ever liked. I also liked the writers sense of humor throughout the games. The way they mix in the over the top humor while still having a serious undercurrent works the way they do it. About the only thing they did I didn't like was

Spoiler:
killing off Angel :(

I would be up for most any well done thing that lets people explore more of the Borderlands and the people in it.

I so enjoyed Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep. Borderlands 2 is an example of taking a good first game and making a great second one.
