well when I use hero lab and turn off hero points if=t gives me a extra feat is this a bug u think

It thinks you're using the "Antiheroes" option. You will get an extra feat at first level, but only in a game that otherwise uses hero points. If your GM isn't using hero points anyhow, you don't get a bonus feat "for free".
