Spell to turn Cohorts into Stone Figures

Rules Questions

Just yesterday I found a spell that allows you to cast a spell on a willing companion or (I think) familiar, turning them into a tiny stone statue small enough to fit in your pouch.

I can't, for the life of me, find the spell again. Anyone have any idea what this spell might be and where to find it?

I'm looking for a safe means to store both my familiar in dangerous situations, and Simulacrums I create.

Your help is appreciated.

Was it "Flesh to stone"?

I bet it was "carry companion"

Shadow Lodge

The proper name of the spell is "Pokéball," but they had to change it for the SRD due to copyright concerns.

That's a nifty spell.

I wonder if there's a way to make the spell truly permanent so that the companion effectively becomes a figurine of wondrous power. I suppose the next best thing would be an item that can trigger carry companion once per day or something.

That would be the feat Companion Figurine.

Nah, that turns a figurine into an animal companion. I want to turn an animal companion into a figurine. : D

Can you have a Gargoyle as a companion?
