Elementalists Oppossed schools

So here is the question:

Does the "All" elementalist spells listed in the APG Spell list act as opposed school spells for schools that are not from the four core elements?

A little explanation:
The Void School and Metal School specifically have opposed schools from the first for elements. They also both have separate spells lists. What I am trying to figure out is if the spells listed as "all" in the APG effect either of these school at all. As far as I can tell there are three interpretations:

1. These spells are school spells for all elementalists and can be taken in the extra slot by any of them. They are not opposed spells for any elementalists.

2. These spells act as Opposed schools for the metal and void schools and are not school spells for wood.

3. These spells are not opposed spells or favored spells for any school unless they are used as a type (aka resist elements fire is a fire school spell) and thus only act as an opposed school or favored school if used in the right manner. (such as a fire school specialist casting resist energy fire as a school spell but taking to slots to cast resist energy water)

Any opinions/answers are welcome, but I am hoping to hit up the FAQ so please click as well.

Shameless bump. Anybody?

Ok, so no one has an answer or no one sees a question? If someone already knows the answer please let me know.

Their still 'elementalists' so I would assume follow the base rules for 'elementalists' and so have the same base access to the ALL spells.

*BUT*

On reviewing the content of the "ALL" spells (below) they are VERY 4 elements so I think wood/metal/void would not get them. Also at high levels the 'base' 4 elements often only get 2 spell choices per level. The 'new' elements seem to get 3. At lower levels the 'new' elements seem hard done by granted.

... could house rule some bonus feat or frankly all elementalists should have the ability to get spell focus in 'metal elementalist spells' or 'fire elementalist spells' to make them actually stand apart from the 'traditional' schools. Till then they just seem like throw ons and not a valid philosophy.

Thanks for the opinion :) that is the same conundrum I am having.

As to the spell focus bit, they do have elemental focus, which is close, but it only applies to spell with a giving descriptor. So Elemental Focus (cold) would increase the DC of any cold spell regardless of type.

The opposed school for Void is the one the Void Wizard selects, Metal is opposed by Fire and Wood is opposed by 'the element that overcomes his element as his opposition element', so that's probably Fire too. The spells of those opposed school are their opposed spells. There's nothing to suggest that spells in the 'all' section would be opposition spells.

@Aioran
Then are the spells in the 'All' section selectable as extra slot spells for all the elementalists or none?

They're the equivalent to Universal spells for a regular Wizard so I assume that's how they function, you can't put them in your school slots (unless they're also on your school list, though I don't think there's any overlap). Basically option 3.

However, spells do not situationally become opposition spells or favoured spells. Resist Energy will always be neither.

Otherwise, they're both opposition and favoured schools and while you could prepare them in your school spell slot you'd need another spell slot as well. That doesn't seem practical on a mechanical level or appropriate on a thematic level.

That said, RAW, it's entirely valid interpretation that those spells are both opposition and favoured spells.

Well I was hoping for a little more definitive answer but I appreciate all the input :)
