Hello, for the crystal dragon (B2), in text it says the crystal dragon doesn't get tremorsense until juvenile age. However, the example statblock (young) already has it. Which is correct/which is to be considered first?

:) Nice catch.

No idea, I'd guess Juvenile since then it's gaining and upgrading the ability till it maxes at 120ft in an every other level pattern.

On the other hand I'd give it the ability based on the needs of my encounter and how much of a challenge I needed to present to my characters. And any variation from the "norm" I'd chalk up to the normal variation in maturation that occurs in creatures that 'age'.

Interesting. Muddying the waters further is the fact that the table of abilities by age category also has tremorsense at Young, rather than at Juvenile.

Since the crystal dragon would gain no new abilities at Young if it didn't gain tremorsense at that age, I'd go with gaining it at Young.

I seem to recall some rule of primacy for what is considered first (text vs. tables/statblock) but for the life of me I can't remember where it is, what it is, or even if it was for 3.5 or PF.
