I was just curious, as this ruling seemed kind of unclear. I was looking on the SRD, and the requirements for levels in Agent of the Grave states: ability to cast animate dead. I feel like it's somewhat obviously false, but does lesser animate dead work in this situation?
I'd say that lesser animate dead isn't sufficient. You need 5 skill levels in a couple of skills so you would have to be at least 5th level. A fifth level cleric can cast the 3rd level spell so that was probably what they were aiming for.
No. Lesser Animate Dead =/= Animate Dead.
Just like you can't use Iron Will to qualify for something that requires Improved Iron Will (whether anything like this actually exists or not is irrelevant).
