Skinwalker Ability Score query (Blood of the Moon)

Rules Questions

Couldn't find if it has come up before, but...
How are the ability score boosts you receive while the skinwalker is in their animalistic form counted for feats and class abilities?

For Feats, are you treated as having the higher ability score, but if your non-shifted stat doesn't mean the feat pre-req, you can only use it in your shifted form, or can't you take it at all?

For class abilities, how are things like bonus spells/HP/lay on hands/smite uses/Bardic Performance calculated, where your appropriate ability is raised while in your animalistic form?

It should be treated pretty much the same as the bonuses you get from a belt or headband; you can qualify for feats or abilities, but you can't use them if you aren't shifted and no longer meet the requisites.

Similarly for class abilities, unless you were shifted at the start of the day and benefiting from the bonus, you'll only improve DC's, you won't have bonus spells/rounds/etc.

That's what I suspected, thanks.
(Only asked since it seemed a bit of an unusual restriction on the race's ability modifier, which they look to have had to pay extra RP for the privilege of suffering)
