Weapon Qualities
Price: This value is the weapon's price in gold pieces (gp) or silver pieces (sp). The price includes miscellaneous gear that goes with the weapon, such as a scabbard or quiver. This price is the same for a Small or Medium version of the weapon. A Large version costs twice the listed price.
Cold Iron: Effective against daemons, demons, and fey, cold iron has been drawn from deep beneath forbidding mountains and forged with the least heat possible. Because of the delicacy and difficulty of the process, a weapon made of cold iron costs twice as much to make, and every magical enhancement increases its price significantly. It has 30 hit points per inch of thickness and hardness 10.
Okay now given that multipliers are added in other situations...what is the result here? Is a Cold Iron Large version of say a Battleaxe 4x cost (40 gp)or 3x cost (30 gp)?
It's not breaking the bank :) but I was trying to find a definite ruling if there was one.

LazarX has it. The double double = triple rule isn't relevant here. Just don't double (or quadruple) the masterwork cost - that's added afterwards.
This does have odd effects (one of those, "that's the rules" things): Cold Iron large weapons cost extra, because it doubles the cost. Adamantine large weapons do not, because it adds to the cost.
FYI - the rules do not list the order of operations here, this is based on published examples (and some common sense).
