D'oh. I should finish reading the spell before answering.
On second read, the spell overrides weapon qualities and spells, and the class ability imbues the weapon, though it only functions for the inquisitor. So odds are that this wouldn't work and the spell would supersede the bane. At best, it's a case of specific versus specific. I don't feel comfortable saying either way on this.

Yeah, I was hoping there was an official ruling, but I know this is a super niche case, lol. My thinking was, okay, so cast Holy Sword first, that makes it +5 Holy, and then use Bane afterwards, which adds onto it. If I used Bane first, then it wouldn't work, but since it's added after..... lol.

Eh u could think that way, but it can still be interpreted that holy overridin spells and weapon qualities means the whole duration, and not just what the sword had on it before it was cast. It can be seen that it overrides what ever was on it before and can be seen as overridden what is applied during too.
