Looking back at the one game I've ever ran, the tabs should have been on there depending on which thread you started first. Clicking on a tab with no corresponding thread should have brought up a page with something along the lines of "Start a new thread" on it.

I think only the forum mods can truly close a thread.
Still, this thread is now superfluous, so it should be a simple matter to ignore it and let it be buried.
