At 4th level, a myrmidarch can use spellstrike to cast a single-target touch attack ranged spell and deliver it through a ranged weapon attack. Even if the spell can normally affect multiple targets, only a single missile, ray, or effect accompanies the attack. At 11th level, a myrmidarch using a multiple-target spell with this ability may deliver one ray or line of effect with each attack when using a full-attack action, up to the maximum allowed by the spell (in the case of ray effects). Any effects not used in the round the spell is cast are lost.
How can I full attack the rays/line effects in the same round as the spellcasting when:
1) I already used my standard action to cast.
2) The ability, as written, only allows me to make one ranged attack.
3) Spell combat does not work with ranged weapons.

1) spell combat allows you to get a full attack and cast a spell. They didn't modify the spell combat class feature, so techniqually you can't... but the RAI here cleary means that you should be able to.
2) You can full attack as normal (ignoring the loss of spell combat) but you may only attach 1 ray to one of those attacks in your full attack action. Until later, at level 11 of course, at which you can full attack and attach as many rays as you want.
3) See number 1.
Mymridarch, when RAW, is broken. RAI it's workable.
Yeah, but it's highly questionable even at that. Some argue that spell combat should work with it and others say the text was intended to say that you can full attack as part of casting the spell.

It is questionable... the archetype is broken (In the not working king of way)
If you couldn't attack with the spell, it's worthless. It dissapates by the next round (ranged attacks cannot be held as charges).
It would make the most sense if they redefined spell combat for this archetype.
I believe we were actually talking about this the other day lol.
The thing is I'm not sure you can use spellcombat with ranged weapons such as a bow since two-weapon fighting is not allowed to be used with a bow or any other two handed weapon.
Thus I interpreted it as the only way to use spell combat with ranged spellstrike is with throwing weapons. Throwing weapons are specifically mentioned as being allowed to be used with two-weapon fighting (one throwing weapon in each hand) and thus, to me, should be allowed to be used in conjunction with ranged spellstrike since spell combat says it functions similar to two-weapon fighting.
UnitedWeStand, spell combat explicitly does not work with ranged weapons. The text says you must use a light or one-headed melee weapon. Two-weapon fighting has nothing to do with it. While thrown weapon rules are a little fuzzy, I don't think you can spell combat with thrown weapons because you're not using it as a melee weapon. Even so, I'm certain ranged spell combat was not intended for thrown weapons because the flavor text mentions using a bow.

Exactly. The ability is unusable as written. It needs to be fixed as ranged spellstrike is pretty much the only reason anyone would even consider this archetype.
I do think the intention was that ranged spellstrike allows you to full-attack as part of casting a line or ranged touch attack spell to deliver the spell attacks. In this way, it makes ranged spellstrike like spell combat except your spell must be a line effect or ranged touch attack.
