Holy Vindicator Channel Energy

I'm looking to make a Holy Vindicator, but I've heard conflicting answers about the channel energy ability. To quote, it says:

"The vindicator’s class level stacks with levels in any other class that grants the channel energy ability."

So if I were to have a Life Oracle 3/Hospitaler Paladin 4/Holy Vindicator 10, would both my Oracle channel energy and my Paladin channel energy go up with each level of Holy Vindicator?
So at level 10 I could channel energy as a 6th level Oracle and a 7th level Paladin?

I'm confused because the wording is so vague. They don't use standard template for Prestige Classes which is "as if he had also gained a level in a [relevant ability] class."

If it was suppose to be only one class, wouldn't it say "any one class" or "another class" instead of "any other?"
If it was suppose to be any applicable class, why not just say "all other classes" instead of "any?"

And if I have to pick only one, do I need to do it when I pick the class? Can I change my pick later?

The ability is ridiculously vague to me and it's driving me crazy. Can someone please help?

RAW: It affects all channel energy abilities.
RAI: It is probably intended to affect one (since you normally only have one channel ability).

The wording doesn't follow the norm, as you yourself mention.

In case you need to choose one class, though, I think it is safe to say that you need to choose which one, when you become a HV.

I would claim it only stacks with one other class. It says "any class" rather than "any classes", indicating 'one and no more'.

Regarding picking which class: "any class" is the limitation set by the ability, so any class you already have levels in with channel energy is an option.

Has there ever been any word on this?

It isn't like channeling is going to be overpowered by it stacking with multiple classes...

I mean Cleric/H. Paladin/L. Oracle/Holy Vindicator could get you a ton of low-value channels. So what? In combat they won't matter and out of combat most parties aren't hurting for healing options.

And before someone says, "What about vs. undead?" - Undead get high will saves against the channels, making them generally 1/2 damage. For lower value channels this makes them even worse.

Let it stack on both - there is no way it will be a problem.

Not the only prestige class that can add channelling from multiple classes. Given that channels are rather demanding on class, feat and attribute resources to become strong, I don't see a balance issue.

The one balance issue I have noticed is the Elf favored class bonus when applied to the life oracle's channel energy. Allows a 12th level oracle to channel 7d6...

You can certainly build a channeller to massacre undead, but it's like a ranger who is overly specialised against their favored enemy. It just means the GM should diversify their encounter creature types, which instantly fixes any balance issues.
