OK, I just looked at the Mythic Monsters - Abyssal preview, and while I'm certainly going to pick it as soon as it's here at Paizo, I do have to ask: why are we only getting like half the Qlippoth?
Mostly because we wanted to provide a nice cross-section of non-demon Abyssal things. Qlippoth alone might not have the same appeal as something like Demons or Devils in a product that was all about them. However, qlippoth plus demodands plus an assortment of other Abyssal killing machines seemed like a more diverse approach with broader appeal.
No solution is perfect, but hopefully folks will enjoy the selection of Abyssal abominations abounding within!

Speaking of Mythic Monsters: Abyssal, you might be amused by today's preview of the brand-new qlippoth in the book - the demon-hunting ylrygoi!
As far as ordering it in print, you can do that through our website or through CreateSpace directly.!

12:01 am tomorrow!
I'll also mention that, while we love and value our sales relationship with Paizo and our other sales partners, we'd be delighted if you considered purchasing directly from Legendary Games and our webstore. When you do that, more of your dollars on each purchase are going directly to the creators of the content you enjoy instead of the hosting and reselling partner, a cut that varies from 20-35% for PDFs and is usually 50% for print products. If Paizo is your site of choice, however, then by all means purchase here and support them while you support us, appreciating all that they do for the 3PP community.

Jason, for what it's worth as a mere anecdote, there's one reason I'm buying through Paizo.com rather than from you directly, barring special sales and whatnot - adding a separate store for each 3PP I buy from is just too many places and accounts and potential issues to keep track of. I like having all of my 3PP Pathfinder PDFs in the same place as my Paizo PDFs, on one account, and one site.
Now if you get that "every product LG releases" subscription option going, that's something that's worth diversifying for.

Thanks, I didn't know that, I should really stop buying from the Paizo store:O
Does Drivethrurpg take a similar cut?

Will Ultimate War have mythic support ?
Highly unlikely, because Ultimate Rulership and Ultimate Battle didn't. The Ultimate (Kingdom) set is so far all about expanding on the core Kingdom Building rules, but I, for one, would love to see an Ultimate Mythic Kingdom book that details Kingdom based Mythic abilities, items, armies, boons and so forth. (Yes, Jason, you can nab that name if you like it.)

Ultimate War will not have mythic support included. It's been breaking my brain just getting the regular stuff done. My wife has been giving me some organizational advice to try to get back on track after getting a bit lost in a pile of too many products going simultaneously. I should have an update to post in the next day or two.

First preview up for MYTHIC MONSTERS: UNDEAD!

My main gripe is that it is the lame bestiary 3 "demilich" that isn't even deserving of the title demilich.
Other than that, I see yet another variant of my all-time favorite undead (wights!), some more obscure creatures, and a creature with a nice sounding name.
Normally I'm reluctant to consider undead-heavy books, because I frequently find the fluff portion of undead stuff to be rather...poor in quality. Of course I can just ignore it, but then I'm paying for something and ignoring it, which isn't good either.
Of course, with this, I know I can count on excellent quality crunch for 14 monsters, and fluff for one monster that might be good, might not, and if it isn't then it's just one monster out of 14.
Plus, Jigsaw Man is just an awesome name for a monster.

Here is a little bit more undead awfulness to whet your appetite for MYTHIC MONSTERS: UNDEAD!
Just in case you've ever wondered what in the world a jigsaw man could be.

YARRR, there do be! Matt Goodall expects final turnover on maps and text for Islands of Plunder by the end of this weekend, along with several NPCs for the Pirate Codex, and I've gotten several preliminary art piece back from Ivan Dixon that are giving me a definite N.C. Wyeth kind of feel (which is exactly what they should have). Alas that it will be MARRRRRRRCH before we get all the pieces put together, but after a few hiccups we are closing in on doneness!

Sorry, that was just clever wordplay. I did think seriously about spliting Faerie Mysteries into two smaller pieces, but in the end I'm trying to get products off my desk and into the DONE pipeline, so I decided better to just button it up and let it go.
Not saying we won't do future fey products, but weekly? Alas no.
I guess we could have REALLY sliced it up and made like five or six weekly releases! :)

Well, tell you what. I'll let a little secret out of the box just for you. One of the Mythic Monsters products we have on the docket, probably for sometime later this summer.
MYTHIC MONSTERS: FAIRY TALE CREATURES
Not making any promises as to exactly when we'll get around to it, but you never know. The planned line-up for that one (subject to change, of course) looks like this:
Jabberwock
Jubjub Bird
Bandersnatch
Leprechaun
Unicorn
Annis Hag
Greenhag
Bogeyman
Banshee
Faerie Dragon
Pixie
Will-o'-wisp
plus a new fairy tale creature yet to be decided (maybe the swanmay)

Okay, I got Mythic Undead along with oozes 2. The Sonic Slime pretty much makes the oozes 2 PDF worth it by itself.
For Mythic Undead, my main gripe is that there is some redundancy between different monsters with near-identical abilities (e.g., the modified abilities for mythic ghoul and mythic ghast) which take up extra space...perhaps those could have been left to a universal monster rule index at the end.
The Mythic Wight's aura is sweet, and I like how their created spawn transform faster, making the wightpocalypse even faster. The Jigsaw Man is...interesting, it has some unusual dodging mechanics.
One question: I downloaded these directly from legendary per recommendation of Jason, and while I still have the download links in the confirmation email, I can't seem to find a place on makeyourgameslegendary where I can re-download past purchases (as in Paizo's 'my downloads' page). I can see a record of previous purchases on my account, but not download links.
It doesn't really matter right now, but if something happens to my hardrive (and backup), how do I find downloads of my previous purchases?

The ghoul/ghast issue was an odd case, in that basically it was an extra stat block that Tom made (since in Pathfinder-land a ghast is just an advanced ghoul with stench) - this book has 14 stat blocks instead of 13. Their powers are identical because the monsters are really the same monster, aside from the advanced template and stench (and, I suppose, the oddball "our paralysis works vs. elves" bit).
All things being equal, I'd rather have had the ghast be a separate monster in Pathfinder RPG, but it's really not, so we stayed with that legacy principle. Consider ghoul/ghast as just two versions of the same basic stat block and it makes sense that their powers would be the same.
As for the re-download issue, it is a known issue with our webstore and something that should be resolved once we complete a planned transition to a new webstore interface. In any event, if you should ever have a computer crash or other disaster (or just need to get a replacement PDF for whatever reason), just let us know what downloads you need via email and we will send them to you.

So...a recent thread suggests that there is no way (currently) to get a mythic Eidelon. Sounds like it could be appropriate for a Mini.

Something for us to think about.
In the meanwhile, just in case you're feeling a little Mythic Fatigue right about now, fear not... or maybe FEAR A LOT! The UNRIGHTEOUS VILLAINS are on the loose!
Everybody needs villains, and the rottener the better! They don't get any more rotten than UNRIGHTEOUS VILLAINS! Courtesy of Logue, Boomer, Stewart, and Rigg! Get them before they get you!

Funny you should mention it, since I just posted up the first illustration from Islands of Plunder a few minutes ago!

Lisa Stevens asked for some of the same piratey goodness for her home campaign, as well. So, Skull & Shackles has been on our radar since last PaizoCon. It's just taken us a bit of time to tie off various things that were already in the pipeline before turning our full attention to that particular AP.
Aside from Matt's Islands of Plunder, I'm hoping to finish off the work I started on the Swashbuckling Heroes pregen PCs somewhere in the early-August 2014 timeframe. I'm hoping to coincide it with the addition of the Advanced Class Guide to the PRD so I can include a finalized swashbuckler in the set. But, we'll have to see how calm those seas are once I sail through this current storm of activity I'm facing.
Bottom line: Yo-ho-ho, me hearties! I see black sails on the horizon...
