I was wondering if you could use alignment channel to make your channel smite affect evil outsiders instead of it just doing positive energy damage to undead?
I see no reason why not. Channel smite just lets you use your channels with a weapon attack. What is affected by the channel depends on the creature type, and the alignment channel feat lets you affect creature types besides undead.
