Since I am such a big fan of Fred Hick and his highly successful Fate Core kickstarter I decided to take a page out of his book and create a $10 reward level that will include digital copies of all the threshold goals AND expansions funded by this kickstarter campaign. I think there are fans of Pathfinder who want cool stuff for a reasonable price and $10 for a kickstarter with awesome monsters created by many of the most popular and talented 3PP AND Paizo employees on the market can only be a good thing. As I have said before, we are still working out the kinks of this kickstarter but I want to make sure everyone can support AND get cool stuff. Keep up to date with the Codex Torment kick here!
By the way if there is ANYTHING that you would like to see in the Codex: Torment, please let it be known by posting to this thread. Thanks!
I mean no disrespect sir, however I confess that I got somewhat lost in both your post (above) and on the page for Codex Torment. Any chance you could break it down and explain the whole thing a bit more?
Sure, basically put Codex: Torment is a monster compilation sourcebook being created by the top names in 3PP for Pathfinder materials as a kickstarter. These will all be completely original and ALL NEW monsters created from the writers with full color artwork. This is the first time there has every been a kickstarter or joint 3PP project ever done like this. Hope this helps.

Basically it is meant to be a full color PDF with tons of very cool monsters for only $10. We give the option for B&W and color printed copies for those who want a printed version. For me personally, I would purchase the PDF version since my bookshelves are already over flowing with books and game products.
Can you explain Print on Demand?
Sure. Print on Demand (POD) is printing one off instead of during full print runs of a project. The reason for it, most print runs need to be at least 2,500 copies before the price is at a reasonable price to sell. But POD has made it possible to do one off printing were you can do short print runs for a very reasonable price. Hope this helps.

Yes this really is one of my personal fantasies come true. Get all the artist and writers I like to make the craziest monsters they can think of. I can't wait to see what people like John Wick and Clinton Boomer are going to make. This is going to be so much fun.

We have not started the Kickstarter yet so we haven't reached any goals yet. There are going to be more than enough offers for people to get what they want so don't worry. At a minimum all you need to spend is $10 and you get all the coolness in PDF format. But we will make a HUGE announce went we start this.
Thanks LMPjr007. Under the "codex torment threshold goals' section it shows 'Goal Reached' for the $7,500 item. I just threw me off a bit. Got a bit scared I was missing out :)
