As many of you have already observed from viewing the Product Schedule, the Paizo new releases originally scheduled for November have been moved to December. There are however, some Pathfinder and Goblins! comics that are going to be shipping out this month. Now, I can't recall if we have ever had a month before where there have been three different comics shipments and no Paizo stuff. I don't think there has. I am not entirely sure how the "hold for monthly" is going to work (ie, will it hold the comics for December or will it hold them for the later November comics, etc). But its my goal in the next few days to figure that out.

Because there is a month where some monthly product lines are not shipping, that does mean there will be a future months where two volumes of one or more product line ships at the same time. It is our current best guess that that doubled up month will be February or March of 2014, but this is only an estimate at this time.

Update on how "Hold for Monthly Paizo Shipment" will affect your Comics Subscription:
Comics subscribers with "Hold for Monthly Paizo Shipment" set will receive their comics with their Paizo subscriptions in December.
If you want those items shipped when we run the comics subscription run estimated to start November 25th, you should go to your My Subscriptions page and change your settings to "Never hold anything". By doing that you will get a shipment with the comics from November and anything ready to go in your sidecart, shipped towards the end of November. As soon as you get the confirmation email that your comics have been placed in an order and will be shipping soon, you can head back to the My Subscriptions page and change your setting back to "Hold for monthly Paizo shipment".

↬If you add an item to a pending subscription order and the added item has a "should ship from warehouse estimate of longer than 2-10 days, your subscription shipment will wait until that new item(s) arrive before it can be shipped. This may delay your subscription shipment!
↬If you need to make changes to the payment method or shipping address, you can make changes to the subscription until the authorization date, if it is after the authorization date, double check the changes applied to both the pending order and the subscription.

Many of you folks are used to putting things in your sidecart to save on shipping. Since there is no November shipment for most subscribers, your sidecarts won't ship until December. Please be aware, there's a good chance that the December shipment will not arrive at your destination by the Christmas holiday. If you do not have a Comics subscription, I do not recommend placing anything intended as a holiday gift in your sidecart (unless you celebrate the holidays around New Year's).

I, for one, would prefer my comics to be held for a single late November shipment (or even delayed to December)...3 lots of international shipping (even if it is probably relatively cheap) is something I'd prefer to avoid!!!

Well, it looks like due to some of the issues caused by the sale and some other things, the comics auth is going to be delayed. I'm listing the new date as Tuesday, but I'm not entirely confident about that date.

Hi Sara,

I'd like to echo @Zesdead's remarks about international shipping. I can only assume it would be cheaper to send all three comic titles out in one package rather than split shipments. Would this be possible?

Yeah, the warehouse and tech team and customer service are all kind of snowed in at the moment with this Great Golem Sale. I think at this point, the comics are likely going to be waiting until the end of the month to ship when Goblins #5 comes in rather than shipping them all separately.

There is concern with the Great Golem Sale interacting with the comics orders so we are postponing the auth until tomorrow as the tech team looks into making sure things will go smoothly.

Auth/order spawning is chugging along and should be done soon.

People who had "hold for monthly" are having the comics placed into their sidecart.

"Ship as soon as possible" will be shipped as soon as possible :)

One caveat, it appears, is that if you have a currently pending order the comics may have been added to that order instead of waiting for the December shipment.
