Alright, so my players just ended for night. They ended up in a running battle that drew all the way through Hosilla. Hosilla got down to 3 HP, drank her potion of invis, and ran away.
However, two of the party tanks were unconscious and the players weren't willing to push forward.
Would Hosilla have left orders with her two cultists as she ran through for them to wait it out, then go get her lockbox?
Mainly, I'm wanting to know if the players should lose Radiance.

Hosilla got her ass spanked. Potions of invisibility last for three minutes if that. She's going to warn her minions of intruders and then flee. She may watch the exit and follow the PCs from afar and when she's healed up she may attack again, maybe with some demons helping. But I doubt she'll risk her life for her lockbox. She's got what's important on her person.

Temporarily, maybe. She would normally run to the Gray Garrison or that Tiefling dude and they can get it from there. I would recommend against just disappearing the weapon, that just reeks of wanting to screw the players out of a cool signature weapon.

Yeah, I didn't want to screw them out of it completely. I think I'll go with Faxon then, that way they come downstairs and she goes "THEM!" then they've got enemies on both sides.
She'll sneak back down since they retreated to Nealthome, ransack her stuff but forget the note on her desk so they know where to go.
Danke all.

Actually, if the party retreated, have her reinforce the area. She can move the guards and demons at the end of the area to the front. She can also sleep in the area. Depending on how long it takes for the next encounter, she may have no spells because she memorized a bunch of healing magic to deal with the group when they return.
Don't forget. She knows two of the group are down. She may believe they died or are in really bad shape. So if the PCs fled... she'll stick around. After all, the alternative is to admit failure. And if it's a sure death either way... well, the PCs might be more likely to show mercy than her demonic masters would. And maybe she can backstab them. Assuming they even return.
So have her stay. You can even have her reinforced by a couple of cultists and maybe one or two mongrelmen who returned from a patrol.
