Mythic Ranger advice

Advice

Aasimar Garuda blooded ranged ranger taking the Champion path with Distant barrage and impossible speed. (To balance the OP nature of the race the GM has made me take a -2 to Constitution)

GM has allowed me to open my choices of animal companion from the druid's list. I have a large cat on my side now.

Took Mythic Deadly Aim as my tier 1 feat.

Two questions.

Which feats and advancements should I take for my kitty?

and

What other Mythic path abilities/Mythic feats would benefit me as a ranged support class?

Other classes at the table:
-Sword and board pali (marshall)
-damage barbarian (champion)
-zen monk archer (champion)
-heal bot cleric (hierophant)
-conjurer wizard (archmage)
-*no combat* skill monkey/knowledge bard (trickster)

Also, how beneficial would taking the Celestial Servant race feat be rather than taking additional feats to increase his bow prowess sooner?

Dual Path with either Hierophant or Marshal gives access to Granted Stride (Marshal), Mythic Companion (Hierophant), Painful Gambit (Marshal), Blessed Companion (3rd, Hierophant), and/or Mythic Bond (3rd, Marshal). Hierophant can give a better boost to the animal companion specifically, but Marshal gives more abilities that can work with both the animal companion and the rest of the party.

Blowback works with either melee or ranged attacks, Endless Hatred boosts your Favored Enemy bonuses, Limitless Range multiplies range increments by 5, Punishing Blow works with either melee or ranged attacks, Elemental Fury (3rd) can grant immunity to one energy type and extra damage with both melee and ranged attacks, Fleet Warrior (3rd) lets you move and still make full attacks, Precision (3rd) makes you more likely to hit with iterative attacks, Unstoppable Shot (3rd) lets you attack an area (line) with your bow.

Dodge (Mythic) can be useful to help avoid one big attack in a round, Far Shot (Mythic) can eliminate range penalties, Improved Initiative (Mythic) will make it easier to go first, and Manyshot (Mythic) or Rapid Shot (Mythic) can give even more attacks.

Looking at the rest of the party, the zen archer is probably going to be doing a lot of the same things in ranged combat. Dual Path (Hierophant) to emphasize ranger abilities/spellcasting a bit (Inspired Spell as the Divine Surge, Divine Guardian is probably more useful to a ranger than a full caster, Heathen Slayer can expand your "favored enemy" choices, Animal Friend can boost your wild empathy, and Divine Potency can give extra spell slots) and improve the animal companion would be one way to differentiate the characters.

Aye, for sure. My plan was to go down the snap shot route to protect the casters and maximise AOO's ... With the added mobility of impossible speed and horseshoes of speed... The skirmish tactics will have a much larger range.

What feats should I take on my animal companion?

RAW, the animal companion/eidolon/familiar/mount of a mythic character does not gain mythic tiers or a mythic template. The mythic abilities/feats chosen by the character (not the "pet") are the only way to provide mythic benefits, other than the (non-mythic) Mythic Companion feat (which requires the animal companion to have a 3 Int, per the animal companion rules). A 17th level mythic cleric, druid, witch, or wizard (or an 18th level oracle or sorcerer) could temporarily grant an animal companion 1 mythic tier with the ascension spell, but that gets expensive (10,000 gp in material components per casting).

A cohort (gained with the Leadership feat or the equivalent mythic ability) can technically have mythic tiers, but mythic tiers count against the cohort's effective character level (and I'd say that the mythic tier of the cohort has to be lower than that of the character with Leadership, as well).

Absolutely agreed. Just looking for basic feat options. First time playing a class where animal companion has been a contributing factor in the party. I played a druid last but, opted out for a clerical domain.

I'd recommend reviewing the Guide to the Class Guides. Specifically, review the ones on druids, which discuss animal companions.
