So, my friends putting together a 1-time adventure where we play as monster characters. I need some help finding a fun 1.
I'm looking for monsters with no racial HD to use as characters. I'm looking for monsters jam-packed with flavor; I can make a build around whatever they come with, I just want something super fun.
I appreciate any ideas you can throw at me. ^_^

Hey Reinhardt,
I'm typically a fan of using Lizardfolk, though you need to drop the racial HD. For a lot of 3 HD or less monsterous humanoids/humaniods I generally don't mind dropping the racial HD and using them as player races (within reason) when I DM, so check and see if that's something you want to do.
Otherwise, I enjoy the following:
Gnolls - Always fun
Androids - I really like the idea of the clockwork summoner, or gunslinger
Ghoul - Especially if you're doing the lovecraftian style, lots of potential. This can also work for intelligent Zombies/skeletons that want their "life" back after being animated
Soulbound Doll - TPK had a great villain using a soulbound doll, so I think they have a lot of potential
Skum - Especially fun since they're effectively immortal until killed in combat. Maybe you come from a tribe who was abandoned by the aboleth and know nothing of your culture?
Of course, you can have a lot of fun with the standard "monster" style races like Orcs and Hobgoblins. I tried to give some random ideas you may not have thought of.

If you want 3rd party support, there's a few books out there for Ooze type races. Off the top of my head, Interjection Games has a book "The Puddlings" for their take on an Ooze player race, and it's like 3 bucks for a pdf.
You could also look at playing some kind of sentient plant race too, which may be a bit easier to pull off than an ooze.

Well, Paizo does have a long list of more "mostrous" races that are already stated up and ready for use right: here
This is list mostly made from the example races from the Advanced Race Guide's "Create a Race" section. I think anything labeled green or yellow should serve well for your restrictions.
Personally, I have had the idea of a southern gentleman lizardfolk alchemist in my head for a long time now. Someone that would rip your throat out and then take out a handkerchief to wipe the blood as he apologized for acting so rudely.
