Undead are Immune to the Blaze of Glory spell right?

An interesting interpretation was brought to my attention today.

Undead traits wrote:
Immunity to all mind-affecting effects (charms, compulsions, morale effects, patterns, and phantasms).
Blaze of Glory wrote:

Blaze of Glory

School conjuration (healing) [good, mind-affecting]
Saving Throw Will partial; Spell Resistance yes

... When you cast this spell, any good creature within range is healed for 1d6 points of damage per two caster levels. All evil creatures within range take the same amount as damage instead (a successful Will save halves this damage).

The spell has Mind-Affecting as a Spell descriptor, so the Undead with Immunity to Mind-Affecting is unaffected.

In a similar line of questioning, can you cast Fear on a Plant creature with the same immunity?

Alternatively, if you need to be one of those sub-types to work then these spells are allowed:

Allowed:
Ghost Wolf
Blaze of Glory
Undead Anatomy III
Vermin Shape I
Vermin Shape II
Frightful Aspect
Pup Shape
Word Of Chaos
Prediction of Failure
Weapon of Awe
Cause Fear
Doom
Aura of Doom
Miserable Pity
Scare
Symbol of Fear
Fear
Hunter's Howl
Sotto Voce
Fool's Forbiddance
Marks Of Forbiddance
Detect Thoughts
Seek Thoughts
Battlemind Link
Spell Gauge
Domination Link
Memory Lapse
Saving Finale
Haunting Choir
Primal Scream
Guards and Wards
Hold Portal
Instrument of Agony

Figments:
Jitterbugs
Major Phantom Object
Minor Dream
Minor Phantom Object
Village Veil

Yeah, Undead are unaffected. Though chances are, the only reason it has the mind-affecting descriptor is that it also gives the benefits of Prayer, which is mind-affecting.

I think it'd be a pretty reasonable house rule to split the effects, and let Undead take the damage, while still remaining immune to the Prayer effect.
