I have a player that really wants to play a Ninja in WotR. I haven't studied the class in depth but from what i have read it seems like there going to be at a disadvantage for this particular path. I'm also worried about how he will also fit into the overall theme of the ap, Tying in his backstory and explaining why a ninja would even want to take on the wourldwound in the first place will also be a challenge. I'm sure he will need help in fleshing out his backstory and character to some extent but i just don't have much popping out.
The only thing i have come up with so far that would make sense would be a tiefling ninja as he would have a decent shot at infiltrating demons.
I'm interested in what others have to say on the matter and wht you have done with your ninjas. And how ninjas in general relate to the worldwound area in general.

Why is it going to be difficult to integrate a Ninja? The backstory motivation element is the easiest thing to do, just go "Demons killed my father/master/puppy, prepare to die!"
In Kenabres alone there's a Tian fighter dude hanging around (see the Kenabres gazeteer in module one), so other people from Tian Xia are sure to have come to fight the demons, too. It's not as if Tian Xia wouldn't get destroyed, too, if the demons of the Worldwound were to win.
The only problem I see is that the AP is not exactly brimming with Ninja weapons. Unless in your game you cannot have costum items crafted, that shouldn't be that much of a problem, though.

I'm reminded of Snake Eyes. Now, switch Faxon's witch levels out for ninja and turn him into Storm Shadow… Heck, they could even be sword brothers.

And if you're going to stick to something like this, demons aren't exactly short of ways to get around. A few favoring eastern weapons "just because" isn't odd, so dropping a few into the AP in place of weapons already there wouldn't disrupt things too much.
