Gestalt Paladin with Synthesis, Oracle, or Gunslinger

Advice

We're doing a big Halloween haunted house Pathfinder special and my DM has us building two gestalt characters. My first is a Witch/Barbarian, and the DM said death is a high probability (it is scary!) and to have a second.

So as nasty as my Witch is, if (when) he dies, I want to wow the DM with something truly retarded.

I'm pretty sure the way to do that is with the Paladin.

Stats are 18, 16, 14, 12, 11, 10.
Level 5, standard starting wealth for level 5 character.

I'm considering either going:

Paladin/Gunslinger - Can dump str and int. Decent saves with good dex/con/charisma. Enchanted smiting musktet of awesome.

Paladin/Summoner(Synthesist)- Can dump str/dex/con. tons of HP.

Paladin/Oracle- Lots of spells, can float charisma easily.

Decisions decisions. What do you guys think?

Do this

Be a human Paladin/Oracle with racial heritage (Kobold) feat. Then the Scaled Disciple feat. Then go Paladin/Dragon Disciple. Use a 2h weapon with power attack and get stupid high Cha and Str at a certain point. Of course, you have to survive the first couple of levels of play.

Or, if you are OK with not being a paladin, be a Martial Artist/Barbarian flurrying with a Sansetsukon. Or a Zen Archer (monk)/Archer (fighter) for stupid damage archery.

Well, level 5 is probably as high as this is going to go, so I want to maximize level 5 potential. The character is going to need very very good saves. I heard something about a lot of insanity saves.
That being said, i'm only looking at a +4 str bonus by level 5, which is what Id get for a single barb rage dip. It still leaves me with having to put decent scores in too many stats.

The gunslinger would only really need dex and cha, and the synthesis eidolon boosts all physical stats

Well, I'd go with Oracle, you can come up with some sick combinations using Paloracle build, for example, Sidestep secret will let you count your charisma twice with sidestep for reflex save and use charisma instead of dexterity for your ac, letting you ignore dexterity for anything except ranged attacks and CMD bonus.

If it's allowed, I'd also suggest going Aasimar and Angel Blooded for the bonus to strength and charisma... done that way you can end up with an 18 and a 20 in those two stats

Lessee..

Human Paloracle Lore Mystery (sidestep):
Str - 16 Dex - 10 Con - 14 Int - 11 Wis - 12 Cha - 21

Fort- 11
Ref- 11
Will- 10
Max HP - 60
Greatsword maybe? - Smite attack +13 2d6 + 9
2nd level oracle spells.

Human Synthadin 5
Str - 18 Dex 15 Con 14 Int 14 Wis 16 Cha 21
F 11
R 6
W 12
max hp 104

I would recommend paladin/battle or metal oracle, put the 18 in charisma, the 16 in strength and add +2 to it, the 14 in Con, the 12 in Dex and the other two in Wis and Int. Metal has some very interesting revelations, but the real win for Battle may be getting Perception as a class skill.

Useful revelations for Metal would be Armor mastery and dance of the blades. These two, taken together, will eliminate the penalty for medium or heavy armor and for the lame curse, which is what I would take if you are going with this mystery.

Useful revelations for the battle mystery are weapon mastery and surprising charge. The last is so useful I would recommend it highly.

I know its not on your list, and if this is only going to level 5 it may not see its full potential but... what about a Paladin//Dawnflower Dervish Bard? I've personally always wanted to see one of those in action, the combination feels like it should be just absolutely sick.

Daelen, if this campaign was going into higher levels, I think it would be pretty badass, but considering we will never get past level five I think it's going to be way under the power level that I want it to be. I really don't mind losing the Paladin as my first class, but I just figured paladin would probably be the most overpowered way to go.

If its Gestalt, I'm not saying lose Paladin, I'm saying add Bard to it.

Yeah, I meant I was looking at the Dawnflower Derv bard, and I just dont see it coming in as strong in the early levels :(

You get dervish dance for free at first level, that lets you dump strength and focus on dex for attack, damage and AC. self-buffing performance and bard skills and spells make it all a good combo.
