Hello all.
I have been looking into the Hexcrafter archetype for a while and noticed a few questions.
1.)Can a Hexcrafter take Accursed Hex feat?
2.)Can a Hexcrafter take his 3rd level arcana as hex, even before he gets the Hex Magus class feature?
3.)If a curse spell appears on multiple spell lists as different levels, what level is the spell for a magus? (Like bestow curse is a cleric/oracle3 and sorcerer/wizard4 spell)
I suspect that RAW answers 1 No (no hex class feature) and 2 yes (no level limit), but it seems like the answers as to RAI (from my perspective) for 1&2 are reversed, and have I no idea about 3.

I go by RAI, not strict RAW, so my answers would be:
1. Yes. You have hexes.
2. No. You don't have hexes until 4th level.
3. This one is tricky. They give no guidance. I would use the following as guidance, myself:
a) Is it on the Witch spell list? Since hexcrafter is sort of hybridized with Witch, any curse spells on the Witch list should be at that spell level (Bestow Curse is level 3 for Witches).
b) If it is not on the Witch's spell list, use whatever level is lowest. You're only a 6-level casting class with a thematic focus on curses, so using the lowest level option at that point makes sense (just as a Bard, a 6-level class with a thematic focus on enchantments, gets many of them early).
I tried looking through all the curse spells a while back; using the above as guidance would net you a couple spells at 1 lower spell level, but it doesn't make much of a difference, all in all.

Not sure of that:
Hex Arcana:
A hexcrafter gains access to the following magus arcana, or may select any witch hex in place of a magus arcana.
It doesn't refer to level. Hex Magus is an ability that replace spell recall, but it seems to refer only to that level replacement.
Hex Magus seems to refer only to the 4th level replacement. If he couldn't select an hex, this would mean that the Hex Arcana ability is useless until 4th, and he cannot select Accursed Hex. Access to Accursed Hex, and the subsequent "or may select any witch hex", would be senseles. At 3rd level I can for sure select Accursed Hex, Hex Arcana says nothing about level, but at the same time, I could select a Hex in place of that magus arcana. I don't know if I explained myself.

It doesn't reference level, but RAI it seems you are supposed to get hexes after 4th level it seems. I agree that RAI you could take stuff like Accursed Hex, but RAW (which I disagree with, but is what will happen in PFS), you don't have the Hex Class Feature (unless I am unaware of a ruling/PFS specific houserule, which would be great).

Hmmm. My DM allowed me to do it. The wording is pretty unclear, but as it seems, the wording of hex arcana seems to allow you to "select the following arcana or take an hex in place of an arcana" even at 3rd level. I talked about that a lot with my DM, we agreed it is possible, but the wording of these abilities is really awful.

Dev's have clarified in the past, as RAW (and RAI), that you don't have a class feature until the level the class gets it, at earlier levels you effectively don't have it. No hex til 4th, no' hex required' anything until 4th.
That I can see, and seems rather RAI, and Semi-RAW (the no hex till 4th anyway). The issue is that RAW (and I would sincerely doubt RAI) you get no 'hex required' anything before you take a level of witch (because Hex Magus/Arcana doesn't technically count as Hex Class Feature).
