If you are somehow large at lvl 1, what mounts can you select as a beast rider cavalier?

Due to certain assumptions of the game, there is no legal mount choice for a Large 1st level cavalier, Beast Rider or otherwise.

Correct. Since there is no RAW way to play a Large PC without explicit GM permission, you'll have to get the GM to help out on that as well.
