I have noticed that the Affinity bonus given to Elemental Native Outsiders (ENOs) is only for the Elemental Sorcerer bloodline; and not for the matching Genie bloodlines. Is this correct? If so, why can't they gain this bonus when taking the matching Genie bloodline for their race? This seems somewhat counter-intuitive but may have been written that way for game balance reasons that I am not aware of.
It just makes sense to me that an Ifrit Sorcerer would get the Affinity bonus as an Efreet bloodline sorcerer, or an Oread on the Shaitan bloodline (etc...). The Genie bloodlines appear to basically be a splitting up of the single Elemental bloodline into 4 distinct elemental bloodlines. There are some other subtle differences but are they unbalancing if granting the 4 ENOs that +2 to Chr based Sorcerer abilities? I don't know, so I'm asking.

Yes, you are correct that RAW the Affinity bonus only applies to the Elemental bloodline, not the Genie bloodline.
Having said that, I can't see why a DM would not allow it to apply to the respective Genie bloodline for the character's heritage (Ifrit/Efreeti, Undine/Marid, etc).
This is similar to Tieflings, who get bonuses with the Infernal and Abyssal bloodline. But if your character is Daemon-spawn or Rakshasa-spawn, it would make sense to apply the bonus with those bloodlines.

I'm largely asking so that if/when the option comes up I will know for Society play. If I asked my DM I'm pretty sure he'd be cool with my Ifrit sorcerer having the Efreeti bloodline and the Affinity bonus in our local game. He's more chaffed that I chose to play a non-standard race. The options tend to throw him for a loop but once he's on board he's perfectly reasonable.

You wouldn't really have any luck petitioning such a corner case in PFS, since those races aren't part of the Core assumption and can only be obtained via a boon.
You'd really have better luck petitioning for a rules change in general, which isn't very likely, either.
But in a home game, I'd allow it =)

I would as well; but that doesn't mean that it is not worth questioning the powers that be. As you say, it isn't unlikely I would get a change; but there is zero chance of a change if nobody questions it.

Well, Undines/Ifrits/Sylphs/Oreads aren't specifically genie blooded, unlike Sulis. They can be descended from Mephits or other elemental creatures. That's probably the reason.
Possibly, but that is easily covered as well. If the character takes an alternate racial trait that makes the character a non-genie they lose the affinity bonus with the Genie bloodline.
