Thought it would be terrible and cheesy (especially after episode 1), but I've grown fond if it. Better than expected.
It's no "Supernatural", "Game of Thrones" or "Walking Dead", but it's decent light entertainment. If you consider people's eyes going white, them dying, and then their eyes exploding in a burst of green gas "light". lol.

It's ok. Entertaining. But a lot of the religion and mythology mash-up really grates on me. A lot of the show is pretty ridiculous, and I honestly can't tell if the writers are trying to appeal to a certain audience or if they are really that uneducated. I would also imagine that it wouldn't be too popular for non-American's, and possibly even offensive to a point.

I'm British and as far as I'm concerned the revolution was a very long time ago (even by our standards :-) ). I'm enjoying the series a lot. I like having a British hero in an American show (even if he was a defector fighting the rest of us - we are usually on approximately the same side again these days) but one of the things particularly tickling me is that not once as far as I can recall has anyone corrected his pronunciation of "lieutenant". I suppose it's a minor irritation while a headless horseman is chopping people up but it's often the little things that rile people and it's nice to see Sleepy Hollow Sherrif's Dept. so tolerant of people's peculiarities.
I also liked the way he threw the pistol down after one shot. :-)

Discomfort with turning the British into pawns of Moloch* aside, it's dumb fun. Seriously, do you think you could explain the premise of this show to anyone a year ago without them bursting in to laughter or looking at you like your eyes were trying to escape your face? If you tried to do it in one sentence, you'd swear it was one of those insane-concept shows from the 80's.
But somehow it works.
...
Is it absolutely bizarre to anyone else seeing Orlando Jones in a dead serious role? And John Cho as a villain?
*Plz have an episode where it reveals that Jonathan Swift was trying to expose secret institutionalized child sacrifice. It'll fit right in.
I also liked the way he threw the pistol down after one shot. :-)
That and the voicemail.

It's not bad. I don't really look forward to it, but when I sit down and watch it I enjoy myself pretty well.
As long as they keep the humor up, I'm good. (If this show - with its generally asinine concept - ever starts to take itself too seriously, I'll be done. But if they keep the good mix of what they have right now, it's worth watching.)
And, yeah. This pistol and the voicemail. GOLD!

Recently discovered this show (which is on Disney+), and have been binge-watching it.
Series one and two were great, three was ok, and after watching some of four, have given up on it (unless someone tells me it's worth finishing).
Overall, the first three series are definitely worth a watch. (Four) is just not the same without Abi. I understand that the original showrunners/writers left after the second series.
Question for anyone who has Netflix or the Amazon equivalent (Prime?). Is it possible, as with Disney+, to just get it for a month to watch say Stranger Things.
