For the record, I find the FAQ poorly-worded, and likely to cause ten problems for every one that it fixes.
Thankfully I'm not a PFS player and our group tends to be pretty diplomatic at working out disagreements within the rules.
Heck, I have one player who's running a Jotungrip Barbarian who actually came to me and said he was going to add some 'realistic' restrictions to swinging around his 12' sword because he felt like he had been unfairly outshining the others in combat.

Ok, so, really bad wording in the FAQ then. I really don't think they thought through how it would read. I also don't think it has been thought out that it will still stop perfectly legit gunslinger builds (which it seems DW DP + weapon cord is the broken mechanic). Things like a pistolero without DW. He'll still only get 3 per round under this FAQ.
