Invisibility and Pinpointing Question.

Rules Questions

For noticing an invisible creature [Core Rule Book page 563], it states that it is a DC 20 Perception check and that to pinpoint a creature, it is +20 to that. It also gives a table of modifiers for pinpointing, including one for if the creature is using Stealth. So my question is, how do I apply Stealth? Is it:

A) DC 20 + (20 for pinpointing) + (Stealth + 20)

or

B) Notice DC is replaced by the Stealth check, becoming DC (Stealth +20) + (20 for pinpointing)?

If any one could answer this for me, I'd greatly appreciate it.

As far as I can tell after reading the CRB it would be B. Otherwise you would be applying the bonus from invisibility twice, once for the base and once for the bonus to stealth. (Although with the way I have been seeing things interpreted on these boards it could go the other way and I would be wrong.)

Yeah, I'm leaning towards that. I feel the DC 20 + 20 + Stealth + 20 would be absolutely insane to try to pinpoint. Although with the second way, that means that if you're bad at hiding and sneaking, you're actually better off not using the Stealth skill and just taking the DC 20 + 20 for pinpointing.

I have a question regarding PINPOINT CREATURE. So an enemy has mirror image on him, so the player shuts their eyes then pinpoints him and shoots his bow and so his chance is now 50%. That’s a cleaver cheat, but my question is, should this be a movement action, because it is active searching and that would normally be perception check, but we did it as a free action?
Action
Most Perception checks are reactive, made in response to observable stimulus. Intentionally searching for stimulus is a move action.

If you have a new question, it's very much more ideal to make a new thread for it rather than animate a three-and-a-half year old one.

An attacker must be able to see the figments to be fooled. If you are invisible or the attacker is blind, the spell has no effect (although the normal miss chances still apply).

The attacker is not truly blind and the target is not truly invisible, so they are not actually unaware of the target's location. They are choosing not to see the enemy that they are otherwise able to, not dissimilar to averting their gaze, so I would not apply any sort of advantage to them doing so.
