Divine scion

Rules Questions

When you choose your domain specialisation do you get the domain if you didn't already have it? Like do you get the powers and do the levels stack between your base class and divine scion?

Looking at the text, it doesn't appear so. If you don't already have the domain, you'd better have another source for that spell. It's a raw deal for an oracle; you lose half of that ability. If you're a cleric, well, you knew what you were getting into. Pick a domain you actually have access to, or ask your GM to let you use the retraining rules to swap a domain.

so oracles get a domain, but clerics don't? I don't get it.

Oh, never mind I re-read I understand, but why would a cleric need to retrain his domain if divine scion does not affect the domains just gives you an additional power?

You don't have to retrain the domain, but if you don't, then you won't get the healing bonus from casting domain spells because you won't be able to cast them at all. You would still get the other effect, of course.
