Animate objects

Rules Questions

Animate objects states you can animate one small or smaller object or a corresponding number of larger objects, and then it goes on to describe the other objects values in relation to small.

However it doesn't tell you how to animate larger objects if you may only animate one with one casting of the spell, to animate a large object do you have to cast the spell 4 times? To animate a collosal do you need to cast it 32 times?

bump

Animate objects can affect 1 small object per caster level, with larger objects counting as more. It's a 6th level spell, so the earliest you should be able to cast it is CL 11. For example, an 11th level witch would be able to animate 2 large objects and 3 small objects, or 1 huge object, 1 medium, and 1 small. However, they wouldn't be able to animate a gargantuan object until CL 16.

Not excactly - "targets: one small object per caster level"

it can animate more than one object, at 4th level you can animate
4 small objects,
2 medium object,
2 small and one medium object, or
one large object per casting.

That makes more sense i guess they need to errata the wording because that's not what it says. Thanks
