Mythic Reduce Person question

Rules Questions

Apologies if this was already pointed out elsewhere.

Page 105 of the new Mythic Adventures book says for Mythic Reduce Person: "You decrease the target's size by up to two categories to a minimum of Tiny."

I'm thinking that 'minimum' was meant to be 'maximum' because the spell description later goes on to say:
"A Medium or Small humanoid creature whose size decreases to Tiny has a space of 2-1/2 feet and a natural reach of 0 feet."

So they're only saying Tiny, whereas a Small humanoid that wanted to drop down 2 sizes would then be Diminutive. Which would be cool to play.

Typo or am I reading wrong?

No, maximum applies to increases. Minimum means you cannot go below the given example.

From what's written, you can't go smaller than Tiny.

Ah, got it. A much needed language lesson.

So is there any real reason (other than being harder to Dispel or maybe to counter mythic enlarge person) for a Small character to be the subject of a mythic-version of reduce person?

Personally I'd like to see an Augmented version that allows Small fries to drop down 2 size categories. I want to float like a butterfly, sting like a bee.

Spell research for the win. Don't expect it to be first level, though.
